Three smiling snowflakes float across this page, and each one has its own size and style. The biggest, at the top, has six thick, rounded arms that split into forked tips. A medium one on the right has pointed arms with diamond-shaped cutouts, with small circles between the arms like tiny snowballs. The smallest sits in the bottom corner, and its arms end in soft, heart-like tips. All three have big shiny eyes, rosy-cheek faces and open grins. Bold, clean outlines and roomy shapes make them easy for little hands. Icy blues and lilac suit the large one, silver or teal can go on the diamond cutouts, and pale pink is nice for the cheeks. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the round centers of all three snowflakes, plus the bottom arm of the right snowflake and the inner diamond shapes, with pale ice blue, leaving the eye shines white.
- 2Color the six arms of the big snowflake with sky blue, working around the face.
- 3Color the arms of the right snowflake, including the top arm and the four diagonal arms, with cornflower blue, then fill the small circles around it.
- 4Color the three arms of the small snowflake with lavender purple, keeping its face and bottom arm pale ice blue.
- 5Color the smiles on the big and right snowflakes with rose red, leaving a little white for shine.
