Baby Sea Turtle in the Reef, a Blastoise Coloring Page

In this underwater scene, a cheerful young sea turtle with big sparkling eyes and a wide open smile swims straight toward you. The shell is made of large patterned plates, the flippers are covered in spots, and there's a tall fin-like crest on its head plus a ruffled tail. A little stream of bubbles trails behind the shell, and more bubbles float around it. Two schools of small fish swim near the top, and a group of striped angelfish glides by on the lower right. The seafloor is packed with tall seaweed, branching coral, tube sponges, rounded rocks and a starfish in the corner. The big shell and flippers are easy for small hands. Soft greens and teals suit the turtle's skin, and warm orange and yellow suit the striped fish. Download the free PDF for a classroom project or weekend craft.
