A smiling cub sits tall on a round circus pedestal with front paws together and tail curled up beside him, and a big top tent rises behind. The drum-shaped stand is decorated with triangles and little circles, and a flag flutters from the tent peak. Triangle bunting hangs across the top corners, and small grass tufts and bushes dot the gentle hill behind. He has big round eyes, an open happy mouth, whiskers, and bold stripes on the face, chest, legs and ringed tail. Orange fur with deep brown or black stripes, plus red and yellow on the pedestal triangles, would look great. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big tiger body, face, and legs in orange, leaving the eye whites and the white stripes on the face and body untouched.
- 2Color the cream areas next: the cheeks, chest, muzzle, paws, and inner ears in cream.
- 3Fill the circus tent and bunting with bright red and golden yellow, keeping the white stripes on the tent white.
- 4Paint the pedestal with sky blue and golden yellow panels, then add bright red on the rim and the dots.
- 5Add the green bushes, light pink nose and tongue, and the chocolate brown and burnt orange tail stripes. Optional: Add a little extra orange shading on the tiger's belly for depth.
