Jungle Butterflies Around a Standing Tiger Cub
Coloring guide
In the middle of a lush jungle, a wide-eyed tiger cub stands facing forward. Its big round eyes and bold curved stripes make it the star of the page. Four butterflies flutter around it, while large monstera leaves, ferns and hibiscus-style flowers fill the foreground. Vines hang from the top corners, a bright sun with long rays glows over the treetops, and a small waterfall spills in the background on the right. Stripes are nicely spaced so kids can fill them in easily, and the leaves and flowers give older children lots to explore. Orange fur with deep brown stripes looks good, along with pink and yellow flowers and purple or blue butterfly wings. You can print or download this free page without signing up. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the tiger's body, face, and paws: fill the stripes and head areas with orange, and leave the chest, cheeks, and paw tips in ivory cream.
- 2Color the sun in butter yellow, then leave the rays and the sky around it white.
- 3Fill the jungle leaves and bushes with leaf green, grass green, and forest green, mixing a few apple green leaves for variety.
- 4Color the waterfall and the water pool in sky blue, and shade the gray rocks in slate gray.
- 5Add the hibiscus flowers in coral red on the right and golden yellow on the left, then give the tiger's tail and back stripes a final orange touch.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker orange in the shadowed stripes, and leave the butterflies and hanging vines white for a crisp, airy look.
