A big tiger stands tall on a rounded rock, head tipped up and mouth wide open in a roar that shows its teeth and whiskers. Curved stripes run down the body, legs and ringed tail. The round ears and fluffy cheek fur keep the look friendly and cartoonish. Large palm-style leaves frame the top corners and sides, and a few more peek up behind the rock at the bottom. Wide stripes and roomy open spaces on the chest and legs are simple for small hands to fill in. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the tiger's body, head, ears, legs and tail in orange, leaving the white stripes and eye whites uncolored.
- 2Fill the cheek fur, chin, and all four paws with cream, keeping the paw highlights white.
- 3Color the open mouth in rose red, the lower jaw in salmon, and leave the teeth white.
- 4Color the nose in light pink and the black tail tip and tail rings in black.
- 5Color the palm leaves in leaf green and the round rock in gray, leaving the background white.
- 6Optional: add a light touch of darker orange along the tiger's side and under the belly for a little depth.
