Baby Unicorn Trotting in Front of Giant Letter U

A little unicorn with a small spiral horn trots across a patch of grass in front of a giant outline letter U. The unicorn has big pointed ears, a round shiny eye, a gentle smile, a wavy mane, and a long flowing tail. One front hoof is lifted mid-step while the other three stay on the ground. Two flowers with five round petals stand on thin stems on either side of the letter, each with a couple of small leaves, and tufts of grass poke up near the unicorn's feet. This page works well for letter recognition, since U stands for unicorn and the shape is large enough for small hands to color in. Try filling the letter with stripes or dots in one color family, then let kids pick bright shades for the mane and tail. It is a free printable that fits nicely into an alphabet week at home or in class.
