This smiling crab has big round eyes and both claws raised high, like it can't wait to play on the sand. There are spots on its cheeks, a wide open mouth and legs stretching out to each side. A little sandcastle sits below with towers, an arched door and a tiny flag on top, and next to it you'll find a bucket and a shovel. A seashell and a few pebbles are scattered on the ground. The ocean fills the space behind the crab, with one big curling wave rising in the top corner. Large, clear shapes make it a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Bright orange-red with a lighter belly patch suits the crab, while sandy yellow for the castle and a blue bucket will stand out nicely. Print this free page whenever you want a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the sea, the big ocean wave and the water at the top with sky blue, keeping the sky above the waterline white.
- 2Color the whole crab body, both claws, all the arms and legs with coral red, leaving the two big eye whites and the white dots on the body as they are.
- 3Fill the sandcastle, the sand behind the crab and the ground with pale yellow, then color the castle door golden yellow.
- 4Color the bucket in bright blue, the shovel handle in grass green and the shovel blade in lime green.
- 5Add the dark red inside of the smiling mouth, a baby pink tongue, and color the shell in lavender purple with the pebbles in light gray.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade of the same color along one side of the crab's legs and bucket for a bit of depth.
