Snowflake Catching Bear Cub in a Pine Forest

Standing on all fours in the snow, a fluffy cub tips its head back and sticks out its tongue to catch falling snowflakes. That joyful pose is the heart of this free printable page. Two tall pine trees sag under thick snow on their branches behind the cub, and rounded flakes drift across the sky. Small snow-covered bushes with berry-like buds sit in the lower corners, and gentle snowy hills roll through the background. The shaggy fur has lots of little tufts for kids who like detail, while the big open snowy areas are great for younger children with chunky crayons. Golden-brown fur looks nice against icy blue snow and deep green trees, and a bright pink tongue adds a fun pop. It's a good winter classroom activity or cozy afternoon project. Looking for more?
