Cycling Bear with a Basket of Apples

Coloring guide
Pedaling along a grassy path, this smiling bear cub has a woven basket of apples fixed to the front handlebars. Both paws grip the bars, one foot rests on a pedal, and the mouth is open in a happy grin. Round leafy trees, fluffy clouds and a gentle hill sit behind it, and the ground has grass tufts, small flowers and pebbles that are easy to color. With a big bear, spoked wheels and a roomy basket, preschoolers and early elementary kids have plenty to fill in. Honey brown fur and bright red and green apples will make the basket pop. Print it free for a quiet afternoon or an outdoor-fun lesson. Add this to your Bear coloring page collection, alongside Shark and Giraffe.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the bear's fur, body, arms, and ears with caramel brown, leaving the inner ears for a soft pink touch.
- 2Fill the grass, hills, bushes, and tree leaves with grass green, and color the tree trunks dark brown.
- 3Paint the bike frame bright blue, then color the tires, fenders, and pedal area charcoal gray.
- 4Color the basket with golden tan and the apples with bright red, adding forest green leaves on top.
- 5Add light sky blue to the distant water on the right, and color the bear's muzzle light tan with a coral pink tongue. Leave the clouds white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the bear's belly and under the basket to give the drawing more depth.
