Bee Says Hello to a Butterfly on a Daisy

Coloring guide
A round, fuzzy bee with big sparkly eyes and an open-mouth smile hovers in the air with its wings spread wide. Its striped tummy ends in a pointed stinger, and two puffy pollen baskets hang from its back legs. Facing it, a butterfly with patterned wings rests on the center of a large daisy. The garden below is full of flowers, including another daisy, a drooping bellflower, small five-petal blossoms and a slender bud stem, plus lots of leaves and grass blades. Big open areas and smaller details together suit all ages, from preschoolers with chunky crayons to older kids with fine-tipped markers. Warm yellow and soft brown stripes work for the bee, while purple and orange wings will make the butterfly stand out against the daisy. Print it whenever you want a quick coloring break. Add this to your Bee coloring page collection, alongside Frog and Raccoon.

- 2Fill the stripes on the bee's body with dark brown, and color the pollen sacs on its legs golden yellow.
- 3Color the big wings of the bee and the small wing on the top with pale blue, keeping the wing lines clear.
- 4Color the large daisy petals with light pink and the top petals of the butterfly with hot pink, while the daisy center stays golden yellow.
- 5Fill the purple daisy, the blue flowers and the bluebell with lavender purple, bright blue and sky blue.
- 6Finish with leaf green on the stems and leaves, and leave the flower highlights and background white. Optional: add a little shading at the edges of the petals for depth.
