Sledding Down the Hill with Belle and the Beast, a Beauty and the Beast Winter Ride

Coloring guide
The Beast and Belle ride a sled down a snowy slope, with powdery snow spraying up around the runners. The Beast sits behind, wearing a long striped scarf that streams back in the wind. He grips the sled's rope in one big mitten-covered fist and has a wide, toothy grin. Belle sits in front in a hooded coat with fur trim around the hood, cuffs and hem. She holds the rope with one hand and looks back toward him with a happy face. The curled front of the sled is easy to spot, and loose snow swirls across the lower half of the page. Try coloring the scarf stripes in two or three bright shades so they stand out against pale blue snow. It also works well for a winter-themed lesson on motion, since you can talk about how the scarf and snow show speed. The large shapes suit younger kids, while the fur trim and snow splashes give older kids more to do.
