Big Bold Gingerbread House with Peppermint Swirl

This cozy gingerbread house fills the whole page. The steep triangular roof has a wavy icing border, and big round candies run up both sides. A round peppermint swirl sits near the top of the front wall. Two round windows with four-pane crosses flank an arched door with a small round knob. Round candies are stacked along both walls, and a row of gumdrop shapes runs along the bottom beside a simple ground line. Because the shapes are large and the lines are bold, it's a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids still working on pencil control. Red and white would look great on the peppermint, with bright greens and yellows on the roof candies and warm brown on the walls for that real gingerbread look. Print it free for a holiday afternoon at home or in class. Love this Gingerbread House coloring page? You might also enjoy our Thanksgiving and New Year coloring pages.
