Big Leaf Dragonfly Overlooking a Quiet Pond

Seen from above, a large dragonfly sits on a big veined leaf with its wings stretched wide. Every one of the four wings is filled with a net of tiny cells and carries a dark spot near the tip, so there's plenty to color. It has round eyes, two raised front legs and a long segmented tail that runs down the page. A calm pond lies behind the leaf, with lily pads, a water lily, puffy clouds and bushes along the far shore. Cattails and tall grasses frame the left foreground, daisy-like flowers with leaves fill the bottom corner, and a spiky flower stalk rises on the right.
