Big Soccer Ball Sitting on Grass

Coloring guide
This page is all about one big soccer ball, drawn with thick, clean lines that small hands can follow easily. You'll see the familiar pentagon and hexagon panels, with a large pentagon in the middle and more panels curving toward the edges so the ball looks round. Three little tufts of grass sit along the bottom, one on the left, one lower in the middle and one on the right, which makes the ball look like it's resting on the ground. Nothing else is in the background, so there's lots of white space. It's a free printable for young soccer fans or a quiet stretch at home or school. You could try dark blue for the center pentagons, bright orange for the rest, and two shades of green for the grass. This page is part of our Soccer coloring pages collection — check out Cheerleading and MLB / Baseball too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the ball's outline and the white panels: leave the upper right, upper left, right lower, bottom center, lower left and the small edge panels white so they stay bright.
- 2Fill the center pentagon of the ball with charcoal gray, pressing evenly so the shape stands out.
- 3Color the top center panel and the two side edge panels on the left and right with charcoal gray.
- 4Color the two bottom edge panels, the bottom left and bottom right ones, in charcoal gray to finish the dark pattern around the ball.
- 5Optional: Add light diagonal strokes inside the charcoal panels to give the ball a soft, textured look, and keep the grass areas white or lightly tinted.
