Cheerful Boy Kicking a Soccer Ball

Coloring guide
A happy boy with spiky hair and a wide, open-mouth grin is right in the middle of a kick, one leg swinging toward a soccer ball in the bottom right corner. He's dressed in a short-sleeved V-neck jersey, shorts with a stripe down the side, and tall striped socks. His cleats show round studs on the sole of the kicking foot, and his arms are bent and out to the sides for balance. A few grass tufts are scattered around him, and the ball has the pentagon pattern. The outlines are bold and the spaces are big, so preschoolers and early elementary kids should do well with it. Pick your child's favorite team colors for the jersey and socks, green for the grass, and black and white for the ball. It's also a nice fit for a sports classroom or a soccer birthday party. Fans of Soccer coloring pages often like Cheerleading and MLB / Baseball as well.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- light peach
- sky blue
- warm brown
- charcoal
- silver gray
- coral pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the boy's t-shirt and the blue stripes on his shorts and socks with sky blue, leaving the white sleeve trim and sock bands as they are.
- 2Fill his face, ears, neck, arms, hands and legs with light peach, keeping the eyes and teeth white.
- 3Color his hair with warm brown, working in soft strokes from the top of the head down.
- 4Use charcoal for the soccer ball's dark patches and the shoe on his left foot, then add silver gray to the kicking shoe and the laces area.
- 5Add coral pink to the open smile, then leave the shorts, socks and most of the ball white for a crisp look.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker strokes on the shirt and shorts to make the folds stand out, and leave the grass and background white.
