Bike-Riding Robot with a Basket of Flowers
Coloring guide
Pedaling down a curving park path, this smiling little robot has a basket on the front of its bike filled with blooming flowers. It has a square head with an antenna, big round eyes, headphone-like ear pieces and a heart on its chest. Its arms and one leg are coiled like springs, which makes fun shapes to color. Off the path you'll see a bench, round leafy trees, a tall tree trunk with a bare top, bushes, small grass tufts and a happy-faced sun with short rays. Bold outlines and open spaces work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it's an easy free printable for a quiet afternoon. Silver or light blue for the robot, a bright red heart, and pink, yellow and purple flowers in the basket would all look good. More like this: explore the Robot, Calico Critters and L.O.L. Surprise! - 1Start with the big outdoor areas: fill the tree canopies, bushes and grass patches in grass green and light green, and color the path and the sandy strip in sand beige.
- 2Color the robot's head and the bike's sun-facing parts: fill the head in sky blue, the ears and sun in golden yellow, and leave the eye whites white.
- 3Fill the robot's chest in bright blue, then color the heart in cherry red and the heart frame in golden yellow.
- 4Color the tree trunks and the bench in warm brown, and fill the bike frame, pedals and fork in cherry red.
- 5Color the arms, spring, wheels and rims in light gray, and use charcoal gray for the tire edges and medium gray for the handlebar grip.
- 6Fill the flower basket in warm brown, then add the flowers in coral pink, soft orange, golden yellow and deep purple. Optional: add a little darker shading under the robot and flowers for depth.
