Bird Singing to the Morning on a Bare Branch

Coloring guide
A little bird perches on a bare tree branch with its beak wide open, head tipped back as if singing to the morning. Its feet curl around the twig, and the long tail hangs down past the thicker branches below. The bird has a round eye, a small head crest, and a folded wing with feather lines near the tip. In the upper left, a round sun sends out long rays, while wavy clouds drift along the top and left edges. The branches carry small leaves, a few buds, and thin twigs with tiny dots at the ends. Try soft blues or warm browns for the bird and save yellow and orange for the sun. It is also a nice prompt for talking about why birds sing in spring. This page is free to print and works well for quiet time at home or in class.
