A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the head, neck, body, and both wings with medium brown, leaving the big round eyes white.
- 2Fill the bow tie with teal, keeping a small white highlight in the middle knot.
- 3Color the chest panel with cream, and use light caramel for the diamond shapes on the left side and in the middle.
- 4Color the beak and feet golden yellow, add coral pink inside the open beak, and use amber for the leg bands.
- 5Add coral pink to both cheeks and fill the wing tips and wing stripes with cream.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of medium brown or sand beige along the edges for a little depth.
