A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the telescope tube, the small eyepiece, and the tripod legs with light gray, keeping the open space between the legs white.
- 2Color the telescope lens with pale sky blue and the band around the tube with deep blue, leaving a small shine on the lens white.
- 3Color the boy's face peach, his hair chestnut brown, and his hoodie and sleeves sky blue, keeping his eye whites and shoe soles white.
- 4Fill his pants with deep blue and his shoes with bright red, then add charcoal gray to the telescope mount, knobs, and tripod feet.
- 5Color the bushes on both sides forest green and the grass patches lime green.
- 6Fill the shooting stars and the stars in the sky golden yellow, leaving the rest of the background white. Optional: add a little darker shading along the telescope tube and under the boy's hoodie for depth.
