Boy Munching a Watermelon Wedge in the Sunny Grass

Sitting cross-legged in the grass, a happy little boy holds a big watermelon wedge in both hands and grins wide. There's a small bite missing from the top edge. The slice has a thick rind, a row of teardrop seeds and lots of open space to color. He wears a short-sleeved shirt, shorts and lace-up sneakers. Around him are tufts of grass and a few small flowers, and three butterflies flutter close by, two of them trailing dotted lines. A bright sun with long rays shines in the top corner. Large shapes and clear outlines keep it friendly for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Pink or red is a natural pick for the fruit, deep green for the rind, and sunny yellow for the sun. You can print or download it free with no sign-up. Looking for more? Our Vegetable and Police Officer coloring pages pair nicely with this Watermelon page.
