Boy Leaning Against a Tree With His Kite String

A boy sits on a grassy hill with his back against a tree trunk, holding the kite string in both hands while he looks up toward the sky. His legs are stretched out in front of him. The kite is a diamond shape with a long tail of small loops, and its string runs down across the hillside to his hands. Around him are tufts of grass, several flowers with rounded petals, a bush behind him, and a winding stream curving through the lower left corner. A sun with long rays sits low on the horizon beside rolling hills. Try coloring the sky in a soft sunrise blend of yellow, orange, and pink, then give the kite tail loops a different bright color each. This free printable is a nice fit for spring lessons about wind, weather, and spending time outdoors.
