Bubble Bath for a Poodle with Barbie and Her Sister
Coloring guide
Two girls with long ponytails and hair bows kneel next to a big metal tub, giving a fluffy dog a bubble bath. The taller girl on the left, in a striped top, hoop earrings and jeans, scrubs the dog's chest with both hands. On the right, the younger girl in a t-shirt with a round design gently steadies the pup's head under a tall pile of suds. Soap bubbles drift overhead, and a bottle of puppy shampoo and a sponge sit on the floor beside a small puddle of spilled water. The tub handles and the foamy bubbles leave lots of room to color. Pale blue is nice for the floating bubbles and bright pink for the hair bows. This free page is easy to print or download for a classroom project or weekend craft. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big bathtub and the jeans: color the tub and the left girl's jeans bright blue, leaving the tub handles for later.
- 2Fill the big foam pile, the foam clouds and the bubbles around the tub with pale blue, and color the floating bubbles light aqua.
- 3Color the skin areas peach, including the faces, necks, hands and feet, and the poodle body and face in tan.
- 4Color the long hair of both sisters: golden yellow for the blonde hair of the left girl and dark brown for the sister's hair, with caramel orange on the bun.
- 5Add lavender to the sister's shirt and ponytail bow, hot pink to the left girl's bow and belt, and baby pink to the flower and sleeve cuff.
- 6Optional: Shade the poodle's face and the jeans with a slightly darker tone, and keep the striped shirt, the towel edge and the highlights white.
