Bunny and Cupid Sharing Hearts on the Grass

On a grassy patch sits a curly-haired little Cupid, grinning and cuddling a fluffy bunny against his side. He has small feathered wings, a sash across his tunic, and a bow in hand with a tiny heart hanging from the string. The bunny has tall ears and a happy face, and it holds a heart in its front paws. Five hearts in different sizes float overhead, and daisy-like flowers and tufts of grass fill the bottom corners and sides. Thick, clean outlines and big open shapes work well for younger kids with crayons or chunky markers, and it prints easily for free. Soft pink and red suit the hearts, and a brighter color on the bunny's heart will make it pop against the grass. Fans of Cupid (Valentine's) coloring pages often like Snowman and 4th of July as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin: color the cupid's face, arms, legs and shoulders light peach, leaving the bunny's fur and the background white.
- 2Color the curly hair golden yellow, then fill the bow with golden yellow and the bow grip with orange gold.
- 3Paint the wings and the draped sash sky blue, and color the bunny's inner ears blush pink.
- 4Color the two small hearts in the top corners and the big heart the bunny holds with hot pink and bright red, then add the little heart on the arrow in bright red.
- 5Fill the flower petals with lavender purple and the flower centers with golden yellow, then color the leaves and grass in lime green, forest green and pale green.
- 6Optional: add a touch of rosy pink on the cupid's cheek for a softer, rosy glow, and keep the bunny's eyes and fur white for a fluffy look.
