Busy Reef Scene with a Big-Eyed Octopus

Coloring guide
Right in the middle of this busy underwater scene sits a big-eyed, smiling octopus, its curly tentacles spread wide with rows of little suckers. The round head is covered in spots and ovals that are fun to fill in. Two striped fish swim close by, and a seahorse floats at the top right among small bubbles. The reef around them is packed with detail, including tall wavy seaweed on both sides, branching coral, tube-shaped sponges, rounded rocks and sea anemones with fine, feathery tentacles along the bottom. Younger kids can start with the large shapes on the octopus, while older children can settle into the coral and anemones. Purple or orange will make the octopus stand out against green seaweed and blue and yellow fish. This free printable suits a calm afternoon or an ocean lesson. Looking for more?
