- 1Start with the sky and background: color the top clouds and the distant mountain light sky blue, and leave the small white clouds and the snowy mountain top white.
- 2Paint the big train body bright blue, add deep blue along the lower side and the stripe below the windows, and keep the window glass light sky blue.
- 3Color the conductor's uniform navy blue and his face and hands peach, then fill the red flag with red.
- 4Dress the family: pink for the woman's sleeve, bright blue for the girl's hoodie, red for the boy's hoodie, tan for the man's jacket, and plum purple for the big suitcase.
- 5Add greens and browns: grass green and lime green for the trees and bushes, wood brown for the bench slats, and light gray for the platform tiles and planter.
