A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the mug body medium blue and the handle too, leaving the rim white.
2. 2Fill the lantern's base, cap and middle band with tomato red, and the pocket knife handle as well; keep the lantern's wire handles white.
3. 3Color the lantern glass pale blue, the flame bright orange with a lemon yellow center, and both binocular lenses pale blue.
4. 4Fill the binocular barrels olive green with dark gray tops, the flashlight body bright orange with a charcoal gray head, and the map panels bright green.
5. 5Color the compass face cream, the needle navy blue and burnt orange, and the rock medium gray, then add the pond on the map in sky blue.
6. 6Optional: add light shading along one side of the mug and lantern base with a slightly darker tone to make them look rounder.
