Friendly Campfire and Marshmallow Sticks for Camping Fun

Coloring guide
In the middle of this page, a little flame with big round eyes and a tiny smile sits on a crisscross stack of chopped logs. The log ends have swirly ring patterns, and smooth rounded stones circle the base. Two long sticks reach in from the upper corners, each with a puffy marshmallow ready for toasting. Because the flame has several tall, curling tongues, kids get lots of room to practice coloring in layers. Orange on the outside, yellow in the middle and a bit of red low down works well, and the marshmallows can stay creamy white with golden-brown edges. Bold, simple outlines make this free printable easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it fits a camping day at home or school. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big outer flame: color it orange, leaving the marshmallows on the sticks white.
- 2Fill the inner flame with golden yellow, keeping the little eye shines and the smile area bright white.
- 3Color the two marshmallow sticks and the logs warm brown, then add dark brown to the darker log sections for depth.
- 4Fill the round log ends with light tan, adding a few simple rings inside each end.
- 5Color all the rocks around the fire light gray, leaving the small gaps between the logs white.
- 6Optional: Add a little dark brown along the edges of the flame and the logs to make the shapes pop.
