Cannon-Backed Bakugan Dragon Standing Tall

This mighty armored dragon faces forward on two clawed feet, and it comes straight out of the Bakugan world. Two long cannon barrels rise behind its shoulders, and wide pointed wings spread to both sides, each one with a big round ring where it meets the body. Long blade-like panels cross behind the dragon and a horn juts from its head. Patterned armor covers the chest, arms and legs, and the ribbed tail curls to the right and finishes in a sharp arrow-shaped tip. No background here, so the details get all the attention. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the large areas, like the main body, arms, legs, cannon barrels, tail and wing membranes, with light gray, leaving the background and the small white gaps white.
- 2Color both eye orbs sky blue, and leave the bright little shine spots on them white.
- 3Use royal blue for the wing panels, the spiky tops of the cannons, the shin and thigh patches, and the blue bands along the tail.
- 4Add bright red to the wing tips, the chest plates, and the stripes on the tail, and use brick red for the small patch on the chest and the bands near the wing edges.
- 5Fill the left sword handle, the wing tip spikes, the foot claws and the tail tip with golden yellow, and color the small joints beside the eye orbs orange.
- 6Optional: add a few slate blue or dark plum touches on the shadowed sides of the legs and tail for extra depth.
