Captain America Charging in Scale Mail, Shield Pulled Back

Captain America charges toward the viewer in this bold line drawing, one arm pulled back with a round shield and the other fist thrust forward. He wears his cowl with the letter A on the forehead and small wings at the sides, a scale-mail style top with a big star on the chest, a striped belly section, a belt, shorts, and boots. The shield shows a star in the center with curved rings around it. Behind him is a rectangle of horizontal stripes with five outlined stars scattered around the edges. Try coloring the scales in two or three shades of blue and leaving the stripes red and white, which gives kids good practice with small shapes. This free printable also works well for a patriotic holiday table or a quiet classroom activity.
