Lizard Man Lunging Down Stone Steps, Tail Curled Behind

A bald, muscular reptile-like figure lunges toward the viewer with one big fist raised and the other hand stretched down and out. He has a scowling face with a flat snout, and a long striped tail curls around behind him in a big spiral. His chest has a chevron pattern, his legs are baggy with banded cuffs at the boots, and the tail is split into neat segments. Behind him is a rounded stone slab or doorway and a set of wide steps with thick, easy outlines. The large open areas suit younger kids, while the tail and chest stripes give older kids room for patterns. Try coloring the tail in alternating greens and yellows, then shade the stone background in cool grays so the character stands out. This free printable also works well for talking about reptiles and their scales.
