Castle Balcony Barbie Princess with Roses
Coloring guide
Barbie the princess smiles as she leans on a stone balcony railing, hands resting on the ledge. A small crown with a cross on top sits on her head, and her long wavy hair falls over her shoulders in big curls. The gown has a swirly patterned bodice with a rose at the neckline, a heart-shaped brooch at the collar, ruffled cuffs on the sleeves, and a bow at the waist above a full skirt. A large window with square panes is behind her, and a bush of swirly roses grows on the left. Rounded baluster posts line the balcony below. Soft pink for the dress, golden yellow for the crown and hair, and red roses against green leaves would all look right. Print the free PDF at home, good for kids and coloring fans of any age. This fits right in with our Barbie coloring pages — see also Dog Man and Puppy Dog Pals.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the window panes: fill the sky areas behind the princess with sky blue, and use pale blue for the lighter patches near the balcony, leaving the white window frames untouched.
- 2Color the balustrade pillars and their top caps with warm tan, then fill the face, neck, and arms with the same warm tan, keeping the eyes and lips for the final details.
- 3Fill the long wavy hair and curls with golden yellow, adding a little extra on the curls at the sides for a glowing look.
- 4Color the big gown with rose pink for the bodice and sleeves, hot pink for the deeper folds and gown center, and light pink for the lower skirt and hem.
- 5Paint the roses with blush pink and light pink, and color the small leaf and little green item with leaf green.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading by pressing harder in the gown folds with hot pink and softening the hair edges with a lighter touch of golden yellow.
