Castle Drawbridge with Two Ducks in the Moat
Coloring guide
Two heavy chains hold up a wooden drawbridge that stretches over the moat to the castle gate, with a spiked portcullis hanging above the entrance. Two round towers stand on either side, each with a crenellated top, pointed roof, little flag, arched window and a pattern of stone bricks. Behind the stone walls, grassy tufts and bushes line the bank. Down in the foreground, a pair of ducks paddles on rippled water among lily pads and lotus flowers. Wide planks, chain links and bricks give kids lots of different spaces to fill. Warm brown suits the bridge and soft gray the stones, and bright yellow ducks will pop against a blue moat.
