Waving Princess at a Castle Tower Window With Flowers
Coloring guide
Leaning out of an arched stone tower window, a smiling princess waves with one hand, her long wavy hair falling past her shoulders. She has a small heart-topped tiara and a dress with puffy sleeves and a round brooch at the neckline. Her other hand rests on the windowsill, where two clusters of big flowers and leafy vines hang over the ledge. Fluffy clouds and a few rounded bushes and trees sit behind the tower, and the castle's brick pattern and crenellated battlements fill the bottom of the page. Thick outlines and good-sized open spaces keep this free printable easy for young kids, and the bricks give older kids something to focus on. Golden yellow hair, a lilac dress, and pink and orange windowsill flowers would pop nicely against the gray stones. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big stone tower walls and bottom wall blocks: fill them with light gray, leaving the background white.
- 2Color the pointed roof and the small roof tiles with bright blue, and the inner arch window background with steel blue.
- 3Fill the bushes and tall tree on the sides with grass green, and the clouds with pale blue.
- 4Color the princess's skin with peach skin, her hair with golden yellow, and her dress with light pink for the collar and hot pink for the puffy sleeves and dress.
- 5Add the flowers in hot pink and the windowsill and ledge in light gray. Leave the flower leaves and the bottom corners white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading in the stone walls with a darker gray tone for a more finished look.
