Cat at the Window Watching Snowflakes
Coloring guide
A fluffy cat sits on a windowsill with its back to us, looking out at the snow. It has pointed ears, a small smiling face seen in profile, and a thick striped tail curled around its body. Outside, snowflakes and round snowy dots drift over a quiet backyard with a wooden picket fence, a bare tree with snow on its branches, and snow-covered bushes and mounds. Long curtains tied back with bands frame both sides of the window. Soft orange or gray would suit the cat, with darker stripes on the tail, and pale blue and lilac snowflakes will stand out against a deep evening sky. It's a calm free printable for winter afternoons, with big open areas for little hands and fine details for older kids. Love this Snowflakes coloring page? - 2Color the cat's whole body, tail and fur with bright orange, then add cream on the paws and soft pink inside the ears.
- 3Color the curtains and their tiebacks coral red, and the window sill, frame and tree trunk warm brown.
- 4Fill the ground and snow drifts with pale ice blue, color the fence wood tan, and color the bushes leafy green, keeping the snow patches on top white.
- 5Optional: Add a slightly darker orange along the cat's belly and under the tail for a bit of depth, and leave the snow highlights white.
