Cheerful Bear Cub Ice Skating Through Snowy Pines
Coloring guide
Here's a bear cub gliding over the ice with one skate lifted behind him and both arms out for balance. He has a knit winter hat with a big pom-pom and a patterned band, and lace-up skates with blades. With his open-mouthed grin and round shiny eyes, he's hard not to like. Snowy pine trees stand on rolling hills in the background, and curved lines on the ice show where he's been skating. Large shapes and clean outlines make this a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or chunky markers. One idea is a red and white striped hat, light blue skates and pale purple shadows on the ice. It's a free printable that fits a cozy winter afternoon. - 3Fill the pine trees with forest green, leaving the snowy tops and edges white.
- 4Add the light sky blue on the skate boot details and blades, and use light gray for the blades to finish the skates.
- 5Color the bear's inner ears with peach and the tongue with coral pink, keeping the eye whites and snow highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown shading along the bear's belly and under the arms for depth.
