Cheerful Bee Floating Past Bubbles and a Daisy

Coloring guide
This little bee has a big smile, round eyes, and bouncy antennae, and it drifts along while soap bubbles of all sizes float around it. One extra-large bubble hangs right in front of its open mouth, like it's just about to go pop. Behind the rounded, striped body are two wide wings, and a few small legs dangle underneath. Down at the bottom you'll find two tufts of grass and one daisy-style flower with a curved stem and leaves. Thick, clean lines and roomy shapes make this free printable a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Yellow and black stripes would look great on the body, and pale blue or purple works nicely in the bubbles if you leave the little curved highlights white so they still look shiny. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the bee's round head, the front and rear body sections, the antenna tips and the front legs with golden yellow, leaving the eye whites and smile white.
- 2Color the two wide stripes across the bee's body, the antenna stalks, the stinger and the thin lower legs with dark brown.
- 3Color both wings and all the bubbles in sky blue, keeping the small shiny highlights on the bubbles white.
- 4Fill the five-petal daisy with coral pink, color its center golden yellow, and color the two leaves leafy green while leaving the stem white.
- 5Optional: add light shading by going over the blue wings and bubbles with a slightly darker blue, or adding a little extra shadow along the brown stripes.
