Underwater Bakery with a Chef Octopus

Wearing a tall chef's hat, a smiling octopus bakes away in an underwater kitchen. One tentacle holds a whisk, another lifts a rolling pin, a third has a spatula, and a fourth carries a mixing bowl. A tiered cake on a plate sits in front, decorated with scalloped seashells, swirls and frosting drips. The round wooden table also holds a bowl of berries, a piping bag, a starfish, a small shell and a jar of utensils. Behind the chef you'll spot shelves with jars, hanging utensils, a pendant lamp, a round porthole window with fish, seaweed, bubbles and a little seahorse in the corner. There are lots of tiny spaces for crayons or markers, and the big chef hat and cake give younger kids an easy place to begin. Soft pink and lavender suit the cake, with bright orange or purple on the octopus. A free printable for a rainy afternoon or cooking-themed lesson.
