On this free printable coloring page, a happy child in full winter gear sticks out their tongue to catch the falling snow. The outfit includes a knit beanie with a big pom-pom, a long striped scarf with fringed ends, a puffy zip-up jacket and big mittens. One mittened hand reaches up toward the sky, and the eyes follow the flakes. Three snowflakes of different sizes float overhead and a smaller fourth sits near the left edge. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face and neck in soft peach, leaving the eye whites and small eye highlights white.
- 2Color the hair in chestnut brown, including the side locks and the fringe, then fill the tongue in rose pink.
- 3Fill the bobble hat and its ribbed band in cherry red, keep the pompom warm cream, and color the raised mitten in cherry red too.
- 4Use cornflower blue for the puffer coat, sleeves, and cuffs, then add golden yellow and cherry red stripes to the scarf, with tomato red at the ends and burnt orange under the neck.
- 5Color the large and small snowflakes in icy blue, the tree greens in fir green, and the snow mounds and snowy tree tips in pale ice blue, leaving the snow tips white where shown.
- 6Optional: add a few soft strokes of a slightly darker shade along the coat folds and under the hat band for extra depth.
