Child in a Striped Beanie Catching Snowflakes
Coloring guide
A happy kid tips their head back, eyes up and tongue out, hoping to catch a falling snowflake. Both arms stretch out to the sides, and each hand is in a big mitten. There's lots to color in the outfit: a striped beanie with a fluffy pom-pom, a long fringed scarf with stripes, a buttoned coat with cuffed sleeves, pants and chunky boots. Five differently shaped snowflakes drift around the child along with plenty of round snowball dots, and a few small snow mounds sit near the boots. It's a cheerful free printable for a winter afternoon, at home or at school. Bright red and white stripes on the hat and scarf look great, and icy light blue makes the snowflakes stand out against the outfit. Kids who like Snowflakes coloring pages usually enjoy Christmas Lights and Santa Claus too.

- 3Color the mittens, the scarf, the fringe at the bottom of the scarf and the hat stripes red, then fill the pompom with golden yellow.
- 4Color the pants navy blue, the boots dark brown with light cream tops, and add bright blue stripes on the sleeve cuffs.
- 5Fill the middle scarf stripes with golden yellow and leaf green, then color the snowflakes and small dots pale blue, leaving the big snowflakes white.
- 6Optional: add caramel brown shading to the hair and a little darker shade on the jacket to give depth.
