A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the globe first: paint the oceans sky blue and the continents grass green, leaving the globe outline clean.
- 2Fill all the faces and hands with light peach, and add caramel to the darker skin areas, keeping the eye whites white.
- 3Color the clothing: bright blue for the left boy's shirt and the right boy's vest, rose pink for the poncho and kimono, and tomato red for the poncho stripe and red blouse.
- 4Add the headwear and accents: pale yellow for the sombrero, tangerine and marigold for the turbans, and bright orange for the shoes and right boy's trousers.
- 5Finish with cream on the trousers, boots and fur trim, amber on the front girl's skirt, and leave the background and light garments white. Optional: add a little darker shading under the chins and along the robes for depth.
