Chinese Dragon With Winding Body and Spikes

Coloring guide
A long Chinese dragon winds across the page in a big S-shaped curve, with its head raised at the upper right. The face has angry slanted eyes, a rounded nose, and pointed ears, and the open mouth shows rows of sharp triangle teeth. Small whisker-like lines hang from the chin. Spiky fins run along the top of the body, and scalloped, cloud-like patterns fill the back. The belly is split into neat bands that look like stripes, and a small spiral is drawn near the bottom curve. The thick outlines are easy for young kids to follow, while the face and belly sections leave room for finer detail. Try coloring the belly bands in alternating shades so the body looks like it is moving. Then pick a bold color for the spikes. It makes a nice free printable for a Chinese New Year lesson or party table.
