Christmas House with Wreath, Tree and Snowy Bushes

A cozy two-story house sits in the snow with a thick snowy roof, a brick chimney, and a big triangular front gable. A string of round garland loops across the front edge of the roof, and the front door has a bow-topped wreath with lights trimming the little porch roof. Small snowy bushes line the walls, and snow banks cover the ground by the walkway. Look closely at the windows, because tiny people are waving from the attic window, the two front windows, and the side window. The large window on the right shows a decorated Christmas tree. This free page is a fun one for storytelling. Ask kids to pick one window and color that person's outfit, then make up what they are doing inside. Warm yellow in the windows and bright colors on the garland would make the house glow against a snowy blue yard.
