Cockatoo Perched on a Ring Eating a Cracker

A cockatoo with a curled crest on its head sits on a round hanging ring, facing left with its beak open. One foot holds a square cracker with a bite taken out of the corner, and a few tiny crumbs fall below its beak. The bird has a big round eye, fluffy chest feathers, wings with wavy stripes across the top, and a long tail with several pointed feathers that sweeps down to the bottom of the page. Small beads sit on the ring near its feet. The large open areas on the wings and tail are good for blending two or three colors, while the crest could be a bright accent shade. This free printable also works for a quick talk about what pet birds eat and how they hold food in their feet.
