Sailboat and Seagulls on the Waves Color by Number
Coloring guide
Five wavy lines of water carry a little sailboat across this color by number page, with a bright sun in the top corner and two seagulls flying close by. The big triangular sail on the left is 1 and the smaller sail on the right is 2. The hull holds the numbers 3 and 4, and a small pennant flag at the top of the mast is a 5. On the seagulls, the wings and bodies carry 6s and one 7. The sun and its rounded rays are all 8s, and the waves switch between 8 and 3. Little 7s are sprinkled through the sky, so kids get to fill in the open background as well. Sunny yellow fits the sun, white or light gray suits the gulls, and cheerful red makes the sails pop. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sun: fill the center and all eight rays with golden yellow, leaving the small gaps between rays white.
- 2Color the flag and the bottom part of the hull with coral red, then add the hull's top stripe in golden yellow.
- 3Fill the two sails: the left sail in ocean blue with a sky blue lower corner, and the right sail in grass green.
- 4Color the mast in chocolate brown and add the small silver gray detail near its middle.
- 5Paint the wave bands from top to bottom: ocean blue, pale sky blue, ocean blue, pale sky blue, and ocean blue for the lowest band.
- 6Finish the seagulls: leave their bodies white, then color the wingtips and tails in silver gray. Optional: add a light touch of pale sky blue to the sky corners for a softer look.
