Convertible Ride for Barbie in a Floppy Sun Hat with Her Puppy
Coloring guide
Barbie stands up in a convertible sports car, smiling, with one hand holding the brim of her floppy flowered hat and the other on the windshield frame. Her long wavy hair flows past her shoulders, and she wears a short-sleeved top, a chunky necklace and big earrings. Beside her in the passenger seat, a fluffy puppy with a polka-dot bow on its ear peeks out. Two tall trees with twisty trunks and little grass tufts at their bases line the road behind the car. The big wheels, door details and wavy hair give crayons or markers lots of room. A sunny yellow hat and a candy pink car look cheerful, with a contrasting color on the puppy's bow. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the car body and door in hot pink, leaving the windshield and dog's white fur for later.
- 2Color the dress and the car's rear fender in hot pink as well, then fill the seats and dashboard in beige.
- 3Use warm brown for the tree trunks and grass green for the grass patches at the base of the trees, then add leaf green to the bushes and leaves.
- 4Fill Barbie's hair and hat in golden yellow, her skin and arms in peach, and the dog's ears in light orange.
- 5Color the windshield in steel blue and the steering wheel details in beige, keeping the hat band and face highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading with a darker tone on the car body and tree trunks to make the colors pop.
