Cozy Log Cabin in a Snowy Winter Landscape

Under a thick blanket of snow, a log cabin sends smoke curling up from its big stone chimney. The arched wooden door has a small round window, and a snow-capped porch roof shelters the steps. Shuttered windows on the front and upper gable have flower boxes beneath them, and a lantern hangs by the door. Stepping stones wind through the snow toward the house, passing a wooden fence at the lower left. Snow-laden evergreens frame both sides, and a lake, forest, mountain peaks and puffy clouds fill the distance. Older kids will like the detail in the log ends and stonework. Warm browns and reds on the logs, grey and tan for the chimney stones and soft blues and lavenders on the mountains would work well. There's lots of room on this free printable for patient coloring.
