A little owl with round eyes, fluffy feathers and tufted ears perches on a pine branch. Its striped scarf has fringe that hangs over its chest. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the owl's head, ears, and wings in warm brown, leaving the eye whites white.
- 2Fill the owl's face and belly with cream, keeping the eye whites and the pine needles white.
- 3Color the beak and the owl's feet golden yellow.
- 4Color the scarf in cherry red, adding light coral to some of the stripes and the fringe ends.
- 5Color the pine cones in warm brown, the tree branch in chestnut brown, and the berries in cherry red.
- 6Optional: add a little chestnut brown shading under the wings and cones for depth.
