Winged Bakugan Creature Leaping Mid-Air
Coloring guide
Knees tucked up and one clawed arm thrust above its head, this armored dragon-like creature springs through the air. Its other arm sweeps down and back, ending in sharp, spread talons. The face is smooth, glossy black, with a frilled collar fanning out around the neck and a ridged, plated chest below. Spiky fins run along the shoulders, a bat-style wing stretches out on the left, and thick segmented legs end in big clawed feet. A long curved tail trails underneath. There's no background, so the page is open for your child's own ideas. Icy blue and silver would look good on the armor, with bright orange on the neck frill to make it stand out. Large plated areas are easy to fill in, while the small claws and spikes give older kids some detail work. The free printable PDF is good for any age. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big yellow areas: color the long tail, the chest plates, the spiky wing shapes and the yellow knee pads using golden yellow.
- 2Fill the wings and the blue hip and thigh bands with bright blue, leaving the thin claw and belly highlights white.
- 3Color the main torso, the upper arms, the left leg and the hand area with bright red, then add orange on the leg segments and waist.
- 4Add amber to the small plates on the stomach, shoulders and lower legs, and use caramel brown on the top claw.
- 5Optional: Color the claws and feet in silver gray and add a few light shading strokes to the wings and tail for depth.
