Curled Up Arctic Wolf Resting on Snow
Coloring guide
A wolf lies curled on the ground with its thick body wrapped into a round shape and its head turned to look straight out of the page. The face has pointed ears with tufted fur inside, bright eyes, a dark nose, long whiskers, and a ruff of shaggy fur around the cheeks and chin. One front leg stretches forward under the chest, and the bushy tail curls around the front of the body. Loose wavy lines across the ground suggest snowy drifts. The page is free to print, and it works well for practicing short, flicking pencil strokes along the fur. Try soft grays, creamy whites, and pale blues for a snowy look, then leave the eyes a bright amber or icy blue so the wolf's gaze stands out. It could also start a talk about how wolves curl up to keep warm in cold weather.
