This little bunny sits up straight with a big carrot in both front paws, and it has already taken a bite out of the top. Look for the two tall ears with inner ear outlines, the tuft of fur on its head, round shiny eyes, a small nose, two front teeth and long whiskers on each cheek. Fluffy cheek fur frames the face, and a round tail peeks out at the side. The large feet at the bottom have toe lines. In the lower right corner, a single leafy carrot top rests on the ground. Nothing else is in the background, so little ones can stay focused on the bunny. The carrot is big and easy to fill in, so this free printable suits preschoolers well. Bright orange for the carrot, green for the leaves and soft gray or light brown for the bunny would look great, with pink inside the ears. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the carrot: fill the whole carrot body with carrot orange, leaving the two small front teeth white.
- 2Color the bunny's head, haunches and ears with warm brown, but leave the inner ears for later.
- 3Fill the inner ears, nose and the paws-and-feet area with soft pink or cream white as shown, and keep the eye shines white.
- 4Add cream white to the paws, feet, fluffy tail and the side of each leg so the bunny looks soft and fluffy.
- 5Color the carrot leaves with leaf green, using slightly different shades of green for variety.
- 6Optional: Add a few light strokes of darker brown or orange along the head and carrot to give them a bit of texture.
